Training for yacht crew
Yes. Training can be carried out either before or after taking delivery of your CudaJet units.
This can range from a Familiarisation Session, ideal for private vessels where you want your captain, crew, or deckhands to understand more than just the basics, through to full CudaJet certification training for charter yachts.
Familiarisation Sessions cover the essentials of safe operation, preparing a user for flight, supporting first entry and manoeuvres, basic technical understanding, maintenance routines, and day-to-day handling.
For charter yachts, CudaJet certification training is designed for crews who may be introducing new guests to the jetpack regularly. It gives crew the knowledge and confidence to manage guest instruction, safety procedures, operational checks, and deliver a consistent, premium experience on board.
Ownership Support

Can CudaJet be used from a tender or swim platform?
Yes. CudaJet can be used from a swim platform, bathing platform, tender, chase boat, or other suitable support vessel.
The user can enter the water from a typical yacht platform height, then use the jetpack on the surface to move safely away from the vessel before flight. Returning on board is also straightforward, as the jetpack weighs just 13.5 kg, allowing the user to climb steps or a ladder without needing the unit to be lifted separately by crew.
This helps avoid the usual difficulty of recovering heavier water toys after use, making operation simpler and cleaner for both guests and crew.
What maintenance is required?
Routine maintenance is simple and designed to fit into normal yacht operations. After use, the jetpack should be rinsed with fresh water, kept clean, and checked to ensure it is free from salt, sand, dirt, or other particles.
Crew should also follow the recommended inspection and care procedures for the jetpack, battery, connectors, and accessories. For longer-term reliability, CudaJet can support servicing, end-of-season checks, and storage preparation where required.
How much space is required on board?
CudaJet units are compact and can be stored on board in their protective cases or mounted in a more permanent arrangement, depending on the vessel’s layout. They are well-suited to storage in a tender garage, watersports locker, beach club area, or dedicated equipment space.
